My wife and I just spent a week at the Babanango Valley Lodge in KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. We were excited to be making this trip. Game reserves brings us so close to nature. But this new reserve was so much more.
Guest Room: The large guest room puts four/five-star properties in New York to shame. Plugs for electronics everywhere. Oversize shower and bathtub. Incredibly comfortable king bed. Independent temperature controls. We didn’t want to leave.
What a gem of a game reserve .The food is worthy of a Michelin star. The staff treat you with respect and nothing is too much bother.
I needed a feather pillow, and it was promptly supplied. The included game drives are the best we experienced, very comfortable vehicles and a sundowner at the end of it
Our guide Henrik was a fountain of knowledge and he made sure that we saw our first black rhino.
This place is breathtaking we were welcomed by the most loving , caring and dedicated staff in all departments. It’s truly a first class accommodation, with good food and service.
Booked Valley Lodge for my birthday weekend. We were surrounded by lush greenery, our room overlooked the valley the view was beautiful, peaceful a little paradise up on the valley .
The food from breakfast to dinner was delicious with attention to detail and serviced to perfection.
Exceptional and everything was beyond our expectations. We had a great stay, we enjoyed everything from the warm welcome we received, our game drive Guide was also very good. Big Up to Mr. X!!! We’ll surely return in summer. Ooooh! How can I forget the food OMG!!!
Excellent stay. Great game viewing and ranger. The room was beautiful, looking straight out into the bush and the food superb ! All staff amazing and very friendly.
It was amazing! The people are so kind and funny. I just love it! The place is really beautiful. And the guide we were with (Eduan) was soo friendly to us and he is really funny. I really enjoyed the time! The food was also delicious and the rooms are also beautiful!
