Rhino

Head Guide

The main purpose of the Head Guide is to ensure that an all-encompassing wildlife experience is offered to every Babanango Game Reserve guest with the focus on catering to the specific needs of each individual guest. Assisting with any conservation projects that are being undertaken on the reserve and being an active member of the reserve team. As a mentor and trainer, this role will be responsible for mentoring and training all of the guides with emphasis on the Field Guides, helping to mould them into successful Field Guides.

Lodge Manager - Zulu Rock Lodge

The main responsibility of the Lodge Manager is to maintain smooth operations of BGR Lodges. To provide leadership to staff, maintain lodge facilities, and provide a level of hospitality, ensuring that guests receive the amenities and services which meets the Babanango Game Reserve expectations.

Babanango Valley Lodge

Lodge Manager - Valley Lodge

The main responsibility of the Lodge Manager is to maintain smooth operations of BGR Lodges. To provide leadership to staff, maintain lodge facilities, and provide a level of hospitality, ensuring that guests receive the amenities and services which meets the Babanango Game Reserve expectations.

Maintenance Manager - Facilities And Fleet

The Maintenance Manager will ensure that all the built facilities, including lodges, staff accommodation, workshops, and associated installations such as boreholes, pumps, and electrical installations, and the vehicle meet are maintained to the highest standard to ensure that operations across the reserve run smoothly and efficiently. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the appropriate budget.

Matatane Camp Manager

The main purpose of the Camp Manager is to ensure a superlative guest experience for all Matatane Camp guests – which typically include large school groups, university groups, leisure travelers, researchers, campers, etc. The emphasis is on the guest experience including excellent service standards, well-maintained amenities, attentive and well-trained staff, general management, safety and security, and the broader coordination of a busy hospitality and wilderness camp environment with many ‘moving parts’.
