Deposit Requirement:
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking dates.
Deposit Deadline:
Deposits must be paid within 72 hours of making the reservation. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the cancellation of the reservation.
Full Payment:
The remaining balance must be settled no later than 14 days before the arrival date. For reservations made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required within 24 hours of booking.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Payments can be made via:
Bank transfer / Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Online with VISA debit, VISA credit card, or Mastercard through our PayGate portal
Cash deposits (subject to a 3% fee)
Cancellation Fees:
4 weeks before arrival: 25% of the total amount
3 weeks before arrival: 50% of the total amount
2 weeks before arrival: 75% of the total amount
1 week before arrival: 100% of the total amount
Amendments:
All cancellations and amendments must be made in writing.
Amendments to fully paid bookings are subject to availability and incur a R1,000 penalty change fee.
Bookings paid in full cannot be amended within 7 days of arrival. Any changes during this period are subject to availability and the lodge manager’s discretion.
Availability:
Offers are subject to availability at the time of booking. Specials are limited to a certain number of bookings. Once this limit is reached, the special will no longer be available, even if the promotional period is still active.
Exclusions:
Offers are not applicable with already discounted or negotiated rates.
Redemption:
‘Free’ or inclusive offers must be redeemed during the stay. Unused offers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
Combination Restrictions:
Offers cannot be combined with any other special offers.
Rate Applicability:
Rates apply to individual bookings only and do not extend to Groups (10 or more fully paying persons).
Pricing:
Nett Rates and inclusive of 15% VAT. Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
Room Types:
Lead-in rates are for standard room types, accommodating 2 adults only. Upgrade fees and family room supplements apply.
Single Supplement and other Surcharges:
A single supplement of 50% of the adult rate apply. Additional surcharges may apply during peak periods.
Non-Commissionable:
Specials and Packages are non-commissionable and cannot be claimed by Travel Agents or other third-party suppliers.
Errors and Omissions:
Errors and omissions excepted (E&OE).
LIABILITY AND GOVERNING LAW:
Liability:
Babanango Game Reserve is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury during the stay. Guests are encouraged to obtain travel insurance.
Governing Law:
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with South African legal procedures.
